Happy New Year!

Yes, she lives! I have enjoyed my time off and can confirm it's true what the say: Ignorance IS bliss!

Alas, though, now that the silly season is upon us, I guess I'll have to start paying attention again.

Why "Vim and Vinegar?"

Our name, "Vim and Vinegar," is a common and, at least in this case, intentional malapropism. Whether we are toying with the phrase "vim and vigor" (ebullient vitality and energy) or "piss and vinegar" (vigor and aggressive energy), we leave to the reader to decide. Our position is that no one should spend too much time pondering the issue, as it is a distinction without a difference, depending on how the news of the day "inspires." If, by reading this blurb, you hoped you'd find the answer to the question "Why read Vim and Vinegar," the answer is "because we write good."
