I know that folks tend to distort facts a bit when discussing politicians, but Romney and the rest of the Right has been absolutely awful about it. It's about time Obama has struck back with some solid evidence of his record.

Why "Vim and Vinegar?"

Our name, "Vim and Vinegar," is a common and, at least in this case, intentional malapropism. Whether we are toying with the phrase "vim and vigor" (ebullient vitality and energy) or "piss and vinegar" (vigor and aggressive energy), we leave to the reader to decide. Our position is that no one should spend too much time pondering the issue, as it is a distinction without a difference, depending on how the news of the day "inspires." If, by reading this blurb, you hoped you'd find the answer to the question "Why read Vim and Vinegar," the answer is "because we write good."

The following constitutes a disclaimer, not because it's really necessary, but because that's just the kind of society in which we live.
